 Apogon angustatus

What I find incredible about this fish is that it has black stomach walls. The reason they are black is because this fish feeds at night and many of its prey are luminescent (they glow in the dark).  If their stomachs weren’t black then when they eat luminescent prey their stomachs would glow and then they would become prey for a much bigger nocturnal predator.
