Rabbitfish

Siganidae
The first Rabbitfish fossils were found in the ocean that used to be Turkmenistan 60 million years ago when there were primates in Wyoming & platypus in South America. They became one of several groups of herbivorous fish that depend on symbiotic micro-organisms that live in their guts to break down the algae they feed on – just like cows.
