Bubbletip Anemone

Guardian: Marleen de Lange and Camilla Norris

According to some it is the intensity and duration of light that makes the tips swell (perhaps expanding the area so as to aid the photosynthesis of their symbiotic algae). According to others it is more complex, like the emotions of a person, where the swelling tip is a super slowed down expression of anemone joy.
